Interesting Weekend? All non-bibulous events.. - 2007/12/30 19:48
I figured I'd start off this very strange and interesting weekend that just past. To say the least here are a few memorable moments I'm sure we will want to discuss via the forum:
1. Poor Colleen ("Willow" or "Aunt Maple") found herself a tree to hide in. Thanks for staying strong and even more thanks for making another jump after that occured. I envy you!!
2. I won't spend much time on this because...well...it was my fault. I was told "go for the boobs" and so I did, and all I got was Mark Cooks Camera lens with my bonehead helmet; the Papparazzi follow me enough with cameras...I don't need them while skydiving too!!
3. Mark Cook fought the Fandango this weekend and given the injury he inflicted, Fandago won. Stay tuned next week to watch Mark take on a flag pole...
4. Deanna likes weather-stripping; so much in fact I think she is falling for it...(okay...I know..I know...corny..but you get my drift)
5. Jo and Marcus are still not back so Paul did the work of Manifest, packer, and part-time jumper. (Thanks!)
6. The poor poor beach...that's all I'm saying..
7. I got pulled over with a headlight out with Deanna next to me trying to flirt with the cop and networking him to skydive..
8. Mark, next time you and Paul "share" a tequila with a shot of margarita mix at the mexican restaurant, make sure you divvy it up correctly amongst yourselves. Cut the booze buddy...you slept too long today!!
9. Oh, it was colder than a polar bear's toenail this weekend...I loved it!!
10. I lost my goggles in freefall to "save" JJ's armour beanie hat.....I caught it in freefall and held it with my mouth until I docked with JJ again to give back his possession.
11. Deanna's law: "What can go wrong, will go wrong...no matter what the hell happens and even after the first goes wrong, calamitous results will occur after the first event"
12. Baglock...did anything happen to you this weekend?
Thanks for a great weekend everyone...I pray for the Beech's full recovery.
DNR...out!!
