Boone Bridge Closing Sept. 27th & 28th - 2008/09/26 15:37
KSDK -- MoDOT will close Interstate 64 Westbound near the Boone Bridge this weekend.
The interstate will close between Long Road to Route 94 in St. Charles County for an inspection on Saturday and Sunday. The closing will be from 5:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The entrance ramp from Chesterfield Airport Road to Westbound I-64 and the entrance ramp from Boone's Crossing to Westbound I-64 will also be closed.
MoDot said the closure will allow bridge inspection crews to complete the annual Boone Bridge inspection and complete a recent federal highway recommended inspection for all truss bridges in the United States.
The signed detour for the closure is to take Eastbound I-64 to Eastbound I-270 and then take I-270 to Westbound I-70.
