Weekend Recap 2/2/08 - 2008/02/04 21:01
It's safe to say that it takes more then a little snow to keep our jumpers away! Saturday morning was off to a cold start, but when the pilot says let's jump, it's time to jump...
Load one was up in a hurry - and what a load it was! No need to panic - John was not flying the plane on this particular load!! John has been waiting patiently NOT to land with the plane and got his chance this last weekend! How many times do you see your DZO (Paul) and your pilot making a jump together?
Mark Cook more then happily chased the dynamic duo to get some photos of the fun! Of course I had my work cut out for me when I got the pictures from this weekend handed over to me. With John's fast fall rate and Paul in a sit, Mark SUPPOSEDLY had no option but to go into a head down to keep up with the action! So, most of the pictures you see in this update are in fact upside down!
Paul, who couldn't resist the chance to get in a little sit fly time, showed us all how cold it WASN'T and another load was up and running not long after load one landed.
A visit from Baglock had everyone in high spirits - we're pretty sure by next weekend we'll have him talked into that tandem harness!

Sunday was chilly, and it the combination of early morning reminders of Mardi Gras the night before and preparation for Super Bowl Sunday evening kept the DZ fairly quiet. Nonetheless, the upcoming weekend is practically begging for double-digit Beech loads! We will be flying all weekend long so make sure you come out and join us for some Spring-like fun!
As usual - thank you to Mark Cook for the fabulous photos - You're the bomb! Blue Skies!
