The Game of Dibs - 2008/07/10 18:13It is very hard for me to explain the game of "Dibs". I, perhaps, am not the one who should be explaining it to you. It was passed to me from those who had it passed to them, as I will now pass to you. It is best described as a social game amongst friends where one friend calls Dibs by saying "DIBS" in a loud and clear enough voice so those playing the game can hear and those who are not playing cannot. One would claim Dibs if they were to see an attractive person. (The eye is of the beholder) When the dibs has been called you will receive a beverage if, for some reason, one of your other friends goes home with him/her. If you yourself take said him/her home you would receive a beverage from each participant. There is one catch....every person has one "Over Dibs" per day. An over Dibs cancels out the original Dibs and one cannot over dibs and over dibs. The last and final rule is that there must be a progression from Dibs to over Dibs...i.e. someone can’t just walk into the room and be over Dibsed until there are Dibsed first. Any questions?

Neil cannot do a coach jump with Ashley, Ashley only has two tandems under belt... Dah.. But - he does take her home every night so he does owe me several beverages...
