Weekend Recap 12/1/07 - 2007/12/04 19:12Well they say if you are in Missouri and you don't like the weaher wait 5 minutes and it will change. Who ever said that never spent 48 hours on a "weather hold" hoping for 30 minutes of 4,000 foot clouds for do hop n pops!!
We had a productive weekend none the less! Some how I ended up learning how to edit Mark's videos for him - thanks Bag for all the help and patience! We also started putting together some boggie and events dates so stay tuned for thoes.
Sunday started out great, sunny... warm... We yanked Paul and John out of bed to come play. Then, once I got all geared up, the storm came rolling in just in time for us NOT to take off so we sat to wait for more blue skies... they didn't come and we made an early run to Dos Primos!
Well - there is no denying it - we are a dedicated bunch!! Mark and I stayed through Monday and Colleen came out to play with me!! We even had Minh show up for some coach jumps! We managed to get a hop and pop and 2 full altitude jumps in before the afternoon was over and I got to take my new canopy for a spin!!
I made John get us over 5k for our hop n pop so I could test out the new canopy - poor Paul! He held this pose through deployment I think!
You know it's cold when I have trouble geeking the camera!
New canopy and a line twist!
Minh came out too!!! You got to love freezing cold coach jumps!!
Colleen and I had some great 2 way action!
Yea - we needed the do si do fix - woo hoo!

I'd rather be at the DZ sitting around telling lies and practicing my packing, than sit at the house with a hangover. (Either way, I'm going to have the hangover!)

It's all relative anyway. Could be jumping into snow today if anyone was up here.
I'll take rain for jumpin - warmer and less slippery. I can't be a wuss forever! Haven't made a jump since A weekend, so Jonesin, due to missed jumps, overrides all!
