Click here to see the profile of this user 		Weekend Recap 12/09/07 - 2007/12/10 18:28 Well - we didn't get any jumps - but we still had some die hard jumpers there waiting for a 4,000 ft ceiling!! Saturday we learned a TON about skydiving from the wonderful movie Cutaway - then it was on to a Harrison Ford marathon starting with Air Force One! We are proud to say all 6 movies we watched this weekend had skydivers in them!!

Sunday morning Paul and I got bored and decided to have a little weight lifting competition... I think Paul one.. one arm... WOW!




Okay, you're right, the ice and thrown off center of gravity did have a LITTLE to do with it.... You can imagine how shocked we were to pull up to the FBO and see the Beech sitting there ready to take off without us!!



Next weekend is still looking okay... blue skies... bring it on!!!

And I needed 2 morning workouts scrapping/chipping/chiseling, ice off my car.

You should have seen some of the looks I got driving home Sunday night, one whiplash look from a salt truck crew.

When I stopped at a gas station along US61N to chisel more, a girl pulled up next to me and said she knew I'd passed her because of the ice on my car. She was heading home to Indianola, IA (about 20 minutes South of Ankeny). Small world! I wasn't the only overly-optimistic Iowan to travel to MO, then.
