Quantum Leap Weekly Update May 1st, 2007 |

The weather was absolutely beautiful last weekend, and we missed those of you who couldn’t make it out. Those that were here jumped hard all weekend, and put together some great skydives! There was some excellent four-way on Saturday as warm-up for the eight-ways on Sunday, and the freeflyers made almost every load. |
Saturday night was also the official season opener for the campground. Keith brought in a live band for the event and, as always, everyone had a great time around the bonfire. |
Congratulations to Misha, the first graduate of the new Quantum Leap’s AFF program! We have all enjoyed having him at the dropzone, and look forward to his visiting from Kansas City in the future. |
You now have a good reason to get out of bed early on the weekends. The first four licensed skydivers manifested for the first load of the day jump FREE! The rest of the load jumps for only $15 a slot! This deal will be good every Saturday and Sunday through the summer. Note: You must be manifested by 9am to qualify for these great prices. |
As you all know, next weekend is the Cinco de Mayo boogie! The boogie starts at noon on Friday and continues through Sunday evening. A full schedule of events is available on the bulletin board at www.skydivestlouis.com. Highlights include free load-organizing (both RW and freeflying), plenty of paid packers, a Texas hold-‘em poker tournament on Friday (no experience necessary), Paul and Jo’s famous fajitas and margaritas on Saturday night, and of course plenty of great skydives! |
