Quantum Leap Weekly Update March 26th, 2007 |
|
 |
Originally forecasted to be a pretty
bleak weekend, we were greeted Saturday morning with bright blue skies,
unseasonably warm temperatures, and light winds. Saturday was a bit slower than Sunday, due to
the fact that it was raining in St.
Louis all day, even though it was
beautiful out at the DZ. Please feel
free to call the dropzone if the weather looks iffy; we’re happy to tell you
what it looks like in Sullivan.
|
 |
Sunday
was jamming though! Despite the fact
that the season-opener boogie was only a week away, the DZ was packed with
people wanting to get a few last Cessna jumps in before the 182 heads over to
Kansas
City. We also met quite a few new faces. The airplane was backed up all day, filled
with students and fun-jumpers. We are
definitely ready for the Beech to be here, so that we have enough lift capacity
for everyone. The news engines and props
are on, and the completed landing gear is getting ready to be
re-installed.

 |
With
the official season-opener only one week away, we are anxiously looking forward
to 2007! The vibe around the DZ has been
great and everyone is incredibly excited about what the future holds. Thanks again to everyone who has chipped in
to make this possible!

See you at the DZ!
