Skydiving Center Weekly Update December 24th, 2007 |

WOOO HOOOOOOO!
Well if there is one thing that we simply could not do without this weekend, it’s Gary Peek!! Our desperate but brave group of jumpers just had to get some air time, even if it meant dragging our regional director out to make it happen! Gary – thank you from the bottom of our altitude seeking little hearts – your flying was more appreciated then you know.
Monday started off cold and slippery… but within a couple hours the sun melted off what was left on the runway and nothing could keep us from jumping… and jump we did!No, that isn’t a black and white photo, the whole DZ was covered in snow!
We were able to get 4 full altitude Fandango loads and one hop in pop. We discovered that 5 is a bad number to have on a day when you are only flying the 182 – a couple of us actually had to sit out a couple loads, actually, now that I think of it, Mark is the only one who got to be on every load. What’s up with that?! I think I just figured out why he always asks to video… hmm….

On a slightly more personal note (hey now, I write these updates, I can put whatever I want in here right?!) I just wanted to tell you all what a GREAT year this has been and how lucky I felt that I got to spend Christmas Eve jumping with some of my very special FAMILY members. I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did!

All the photos in this recap were done by the very talented Mark Cook. Now, Mark, let’s talk about this video thing… I think I want to split the video slots with you, you get on every load AND you get to edit the videos? I mean, share the love!

Well hope you all enjoyed the holiday – tomorrow we can stop listening to all the Christmas music FINALLY – Woo HOO!!!! See you all this weekend!

Blue skies!!
